1 1/2 in. x 2 5/8 in. with 21 in. lashing

This is one of a double handful of hooks I made of various materials.

This one was also an award winner, first place for carving. It is my interpretation of the Polynesian/Hawaiian/New Zealand style of hook carving. The wood is very spalted and highly figured. The lashing was done by a Local in Hawaii. The toggle is a simple plastic bead.

Finished with cyanoacrylate (super glue) and kukui nut oil.
